Fatih Mehmet Ergüney

Hayat Kimya, R&D & Hayat Innovation Manager

Dr. Fatih Mehmet Ergüney has an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Boğaziçi University (2000).  After working for 2 years in Serfloor, a leading company in its field, he was admitted to the world’s most recognized PhD program on polymers in the University of Akron in Ohio.  From 2003 to 2007, he worked on the quantum effects in polymer nanocomposites and published four scientific articles in “Polymer”, the most prestigious publication in the field.  He returned to Turkey in 2007 and worked in Sampaş Nanotechnology first as a Project Associate and then as a Project Manager for five and a half years.  During this time, he implemented dozens of nanotechnology projects developed in foreign universities using national industrial practices.  In April 2012, he became the New Technologies Manager of Hayat Kimya R&D Center.  He helped establish the center and pioneered EUREKA, TÜBİTAK and Horizon 2020 projects.  

Dr. Ergüney is currently the R&D Manager of Innovation and Flexible Packaging / Nonwoven at Hayat Kimya, where he is responsible for all back-end, front-end and R&D activities regarding the flexible packaging and nonwoven technologies used in Hayat Kimya products made for Turkish and foreign markets, and coordinates Innovation Management processes within the company.
