Serap AKALIN KIZILOĞLU graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Food Engineering in 1996 and completed her master's degree on "Climate Change" in Ankara University Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Agricultural Economics in 2018. 

 

After working as a Food Engineer in the General Directorate of Protection and Control of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs between 2001-2005, she worked in various provincial units of the Ministry between 2005-2013. He is currently working as a Senior Food Engineer at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, General Directorate of Food and Control, Food Enterprises and Codex Department.

 

Within the scope of the studies carried out in the Ministry, she is responsible for the preparation of national legislation on "Food Labelling", "Substances and Materials in Contact with Food" and "Fats and Oils" and carrying out harmonisation studies with the European Union. She is also the secretariat of the National Food Codex Commission (NFCC). 

 

She is married and has one son.
