Elif Baknalı

Elif Baknali was born in Izmir in 1989. She received her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering and master’s degree in Coastal Science and Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. Besides industry and academic experience, previously she worked as an Environmental and Social Risk Assistant Manager under Corporate and Commercial Department in QNB Finansbank. During her both academic and private sector experience, she has worked in technical, environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) issues in the corporate sector, combined with knowledge of the financial sector, to support appropriate actions and aligns with the Paris Agreement. Currently she is working as a Green Economy Transition Principal under Industry, Commerce and Agribusiness Banking Team in EBRD.
