Yağmur Eroğlu

CERTILOOP General Manager

Born in Istanbul in 1987, Yağmur Eroğlu graduated from Trakya University, Department of Environmental Engineering, and then, after gaining sufficient industry experience, completed her master's degree in Executive MBA at Istanbul University. After working for a while in the fields of recycling and environmental consultancy, she started working as a Technical Specialist at PAGEV in 2011 to establish PAGÇEV, which will be an EPR Scheme for packaging waste. She served first as Technical Coordinator and then as General Manager at PAGÇEV, Türkiye's authorized organization for packaging waste within the scope of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) between 2014 and 2020. During this period, PAGÇEV authorized approximately 2000 companies every year; It has recycled the packaging waste of approximately 13 million people in 16 cities and 81 municipalities and provided recycling training to approximately 50 thousand people. The CERTILOOP, which she founded in 2021, is Turkiye's first Conformity Assessment Organization operating in the field of recycling evaluation and certification, and offers the certification services they need to convertors, raw material producers, compound and additive manufacturers and recycling facilities under international accreditation.

 
Yağmur Eroğlu has also completed Türkiye's most serious Sustainability Expertise Certificate Program, organized in cooperation with the Turkish Capital Markets Association, and prepares sustainability reports. She also has certificates in areas such as Life Cycle Analysis (LCA), Greenhouse Gas calculation, etc. and provides reporting services to companies in relevant fields. Yağmur Eroğlu also provides recyclable product production, zero waste management, plastic waste management and feasibility (for investments) consultancy with his long years of experience in the plastic, recycling and waste management sectors. Eroğlu is married with one child.
